Swami Vivekananda: The man who inspired youth to aspire for greatness

Swami Vivekanand, a youth icon and great spiritual master, should be taught at all universities about how a curious youngster may become a role model for millions of people worldwide.

A prolific orator and the founder of Ramakrishna Math- was born on Pausha Krishna Saptami 1919 corresponding to January 12, 1863, of the Gregorian calendar.

Swamiji explained the purpose of life in a more profound way. This life is brief, and the world’s whims are fleeting, but those who live for others live alone; the rest are more dead than alive.

Vivekananda gave a practical interpretation of the basic essence of Vedanta and told the youth that they should trust their inner potential and have confidence in themselves that they are divine.
