Lalbaugchya Raja has been the most renowned pandal in Mumbai for over 85 years. It is one of the most visited pandals, with more than 15 lakh devotees paying obeisance within 10 days.

2. Dagadusheth Halwai – Pune

Dagadusheth Halwai Ganeshotsav is one of the oldest Sarvajanik pandals in India, as the festival has been celebrated here since 1896. Dagadusheth Halwai was a sweetmeat businessman from Karnataka who settled down in Pune.

3.Mumbaicha Raja – Ganesh Galli, Lalbaug, Mumbai

Mumbaicha Raja is the oldest pandal established by mill workers in 1928 in Ganesh Gali, Lalbaug. It has a distinction of its classical idols that convey a social message every time.

4. Khairatabad Ganesh Pandal, Hyderabad

Khairatabad Ganesh Pandal is the largest pandal in Hyderabad, featuring a 100-foot-tall Lord Ganesha Idol. The idol is painted with organic colours and is made of clay sourced from Rajasthan.

5. Kasba Ganpati – Pune

Kasba Ganpati has a history dating back to the days of Shivaji Maharaj. Jijamata, Shivaji’s mother, built this temple. Though it is a Ganesha temple, it celebrates a Sarvajanik pandal yearly. Lokmanya Tilak started the Ganesha Sarvajanik festivals in Pune at Kasba Ganpati.
