Manu Ahuja, CEO of Jubilant Agri & Consumer Products, Passed Away

According to a corporate exchange statement, Jubilant Agri and Consumer Products Limited (JACPL) announced the death of its chief executive officer and full-time director, Manu Ahuja, on December 9.

“Mr. Ahuja’s sudden and unexpected passing away will be an irreparable loss to JACPL and all the directors and employees of the company convey deep sympathy, sorrow and condolences to his family,” stated the business in an exchange filing. The document further stated that the management and directors expressed their gratitude for his significant achievements during his full-time role as CEO and director of JACPL.

Manu Ahuja was a graduate of Thapar Institute of Engineering and XLRI Jamshedpur. He has a wealth of expertise in a variety of Indian and Southeast Asian companies. He oversaw 18 nations during his more than seven years as ASSA ABLOY Asia Pacific’s President of South Asia. He started his career in 1991 with Coats Viyella and went on to become a leader at Akzo Nobel and Whirlpool.

The consumer goods in JACPL’s product range include food polymers, adhesives, wood finishes, wood preservatives, and synthetic latex varieties include vinyl pyridine, SBR, and NBR latex. Additionally, it produces industrial chemicals, agricultural growth, and crop nutrition. Jubilant Industries Limited owns all of JACPL as a subsidiary.

There are five manufacturing locations for JACPL in India: Sahibabad, Gajraula, Kapasan, Nira, and Samlaya.
