Godrej Appliances will reach more than Rs 10,000 crore at the end of FY26. The company has yet again established a new revenue high of Rs 6,947 crore for FY22. The 67% growth expected through FY25 to FY26 will mainly be derived from the sale of air conditioners, refrigerators, washing machines, and new packaged products. According to ICMR, it is expected to surge to Rs 8,500 crore in FY25 and Rs 10,000 crore in FY26.
“The ambition factor is strategic and becomes ingrained in one’s subconscious, positioning Godrej Appliances to achieve a ranking among the top three market leaders in its respective product categories,” says Kamal Nandi, Business Head and Executive Vice-President. Godrej Appliances projects revenue at Rs 6,000 crore for FY24.
Godrej has succeeded in increasing the share of the air conditioner market from ninth position to fifth in the last 12 months. Godrej is likely to be among the top three companies in that category by the end of this year. The company is at number four in the refrigerator market and at number six in washing machines, Godrej said. Godrej hopes that it’ll be able to enter the top three in both of these products within the next three years.
Refrigerator division business has grown 40% so far. Chest freezer market, part of its business line, is expected to bounce back next year. “Helped by new products recently added, said Nandi.
In short, it is using AI to make the customer experience better. Last week alone, Godrej Appliances installed its top products, such as an AI-supported washing machine, in a new factory near Pune in Shirwal.
Godrej is making investments of almost Rs 200 crore every year in developing products and technology. It plans clearly to invest approximately Rs 100 crores a year on machinery and infrastructure. Godrej Appliances believes in innovation and quality as it aggressively expands. The company does not have any specific expansion plans but invested Rs 1,500 crores in seven years for the development of factory facilities.
