Garden of Joy, a landscaping startup, announced on Thursday that it has secured Rs 84 lakh in a seed funding round led by Inflection Point Ventures (IPV). The company intends to utilize the funds to expand its operations in Bengaluru and five additional cities.
Sanyam Raheja, the founder and CEO of Garden of Joy, expressed enthusiasm about partnering with IPV, considering it a significant milestone for the startup. He stated, “This capital infusion not only facilitates our expansion but also validates our vision of creating vibrant and sustainable outdoor spaces. We plan to allocate these funds towards developing in-house technological products for design and vertical integration across all our services.”
Raheja further added, “Currently, we operate in Bangalore and Hyderabad, and within the next couple of years, we aim to extend our presence to all major cities in Karnataka, Telangana, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, and Kerala,” as mentioned in a press release.
According to Garden of Joy, the landscaping market in India is valued at $14.96 billion, while the global market is estimated at $296 billion. The global market is projected to experience a compound annual growth rate of 4.72% from 2024 to 2028.
Garden of Joy specializes in providing customizable project management solutions for urban landscaping. The company has completed over 100 landscaping projects within the first 18 months of its establishment.

IPV, an angel investing platform, consists of a network of more than 12,000 CEOs, high-net-worth individuals, and professionals who actively invest in startups. To date, IPV has allocated over Rs 700 crore across 200 deals.
