Revrag, a B2B sales firm, secured $600K in a pre-Seed fundraising round headed by Powerhouse Ventures. Notable investors included Viral Bajaria, Kunal Shah of CRED, Deepak Anchala, Vetri Vellore, and other angel investors.
The company plans to utilize the cash to expand into new markets, focus on sales and marketing, and deploy its AI-BDR solution, according to a press statement.
Revrag, co-founded in 2022 by Ashutosh Prakash Singh, Neeraj Gupta, and Pankaj Gupta, seeks to empower revenue teams by eliminating superfluous processes and improving overall sales efficiency. Its first solution, an AI-BDR, will be available soon, with the goal of transforming how businesses approach revenue generation operations.
According to the Bengaluru-based startup, its AI-BDR product would handle initial prospect outreach and meeting scheduling, freeing up human sellers to focus on client contacts and other sales-related tasks. The AI agent will automate prospecting and outreach on a large scale, intelligently qualify leads, arrange meetings, and deliver data-driven insights for better decision-making. Emma, the platform’s first artificial intelligence agent, assisted businesses in adapting to new technology.
The AI agent will automate prospecting and outreach on a large scale, intelligently qualify leads, arrange meetings, and deliver data-driven insights for better decision-making. Emma, the startup’s first AI assistant, represents a fundamental shift in how the sales business will evolve with current technology.
While Revrag intends to expand into other markets, their current focus is on core business activities such as sales and marketing. Powerhouse Ventures led the pre-seed round of fundraising, which included renowned investors such as Viral Bajaria (co-founder of 6Sense), Kunal Shah (founder of Cred), Deepak Anchala (founder of Slintel), Vetri Vellore (founder of Rhythms), and 20 additional marquee angel investors.
Revrag is also funded by industry titans, including the founders and senior executives of 6Sense and Slintel. “At Revrag, we’re developing clever AI agents to help revenue teams automate repetitive tasks so they can focus on what’s essential. For example, our AI-BDR can handle initial prospect outreach and meeting scheduling, freeing up human sellers to focus on client interactions and other sales process difficulties,” stated Ashutosh Singh, CEO and co-founder of Revrag.
